Vornado posing office building to replace Hotel Pennsylvania

Vornado Realty Trust is actively building the planned 400-meter office building to replace the battle-hardened Pennsylvania hotel on 401 Seventh Ave.

The Post published in October, the first rendering of the 2.8 million square foot model by Rafael Viñoly.

Now YIMBY has taken a look at the marketing presentation, which is littered with Facebook logos – all the better to lure the social media site into the western reaches of the island.

Facebook is already Vornado's renter on 770 Broadway, where it blasts out of the mortar. As I told you last month, the property investment trust led by Steve Roth also raises Facebook floors in the Farley Building, where Dentsu is likely to land and Amazon is looking for new opportunities.
