The award for the 21st Annual Retail Store of the Year was dominated by two transactions in the city center.
New York's first prize for the most sophisticated transaction was taken home by brokers for both sides of the 72,260-square-foot Life Time Fitness lease on most lower levels of Harry Macklowe's redesigned luxury residential project on One Wall St The winning RKF team of Peter Whitenack, Jackie Totolo and Scott Zinovoy represented Macklowe, while fellow winners Joe Mastromonaco and Fritz Kemerling of the Dartmouth Company worked for the fitness company.
The most significant prize of the year was taken home by Ross Kaplan and Jeffrey D. Roseman of Newmark Knight Frank for the representation of the builder Fosun in the 40,000 square meter lease with Alamo Drafthouse on Liberty Street 28.
The awards were presented on Tuesday evening at the cocktail party of the Retail Committee in the Convene at 117 W. 46th St.
